Mr. Frank Anderson is President of the Defense Acquisition University (DAU),
an award-winning corporate university. As President of DAU, Mr. Anderson serves as a principal advisor to the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) and the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense
for Acquisition and Technology (A&T).

In 2002, he was recognized in the Corporate University Best in Class (CUBIC) Awards as Corporate University Leader of the Year. Also in 2002, DAU was selected as Best Overall Corporate University, Best Virtual Corporate University, Best Use of Technology and runner-up for Most Innovative Corporate University. DAU was also
selected by the United States Distance Learning Association for multiple e-Learning Best Practice Awards for 2002 and then again in 2005. In 2003, DAU won the coveted Brandon Hall Gold Medal Award for Excellence in e-Learning Best Practices for its Performance Learning Model (PLM). In both 2004 and 2006, Mr. Anderson was selected Chief Learning Officer of the Year by Chief Learning Officer magazine, and DAU was recognized with
additional awards for Learning Innovation and Strategic Alignment in the magazine’s annual Learning in Practice Awards competition. On November 16, 2004, Mr. Anderson received the Department of Defense Distinguished
Civilian Service Award - the highest given by the Secretary of Defense to career employees who reflect exceptional devotion to duty and extremely significant contributions to the Department.

In 2004, DAU was selected as the top corporate university in America by the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) Best Award. In 2005 and 2006, DAU was selected by Leadership Excellence magazine for the best Leadership Development Program in the military / government sector. Additionally, DAU was selected in
2006 as, “Best Overall Corporate University,” “Best Mature Corporate University” and “Best Virtual Corporate University.” Also in 2006, Mr. Anderson was again selected as “Corporate University Leader of the Year.”

Mr. Anderson is a graduate of the Defense Systems Management College, Air Command Staff College, Industrial College of the Armed Forces and has a master’s and a bachelor’s degree (Cum Laude) in business. He is a retired Brigadier General, United States Air Force. He previously served as Vice President of Defense Acquisition
University and led the strategic planning process that shaped the current DAU reengineering initiatives. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Contract Management Association and the Washington Area Corporate University Consortium, and is a Trustee for the Contract Management Institute.
